Paris debut for Land Rover's special edition Evoque
Land Rover is celebrating the best of British with new technology and personalisation options for the SW1 Special Edition Evoque. This model is the first of the company's Inspired By Britain special edition vehicles to receive a make-over by the highly inventive design team.
The red, white and blue trim and British flag are perfect for the Evoque, as they symbolise just how much of a success story this model has been for the country. The car was engineered and designed in Gaydon in Warwickshire and manufactured on Merseyside at the Halewood plant. The Evoque has won 161 awards globally and is the fastest-selling Land Rover ever, with in excess of 340,000 international sales.Land Rover's design director, Gerry McGovern, said: "The Range Rover Evoque is a fresh interpretation of classic Range Rover design cues. These special editions are a celebration of our Britishness. Evoque is designed and engineered in Britain and we know that resonates with our global consumers."
The SW1 Evoque will feature at the Paris Motor Show and will be made available for sale soon after the show closes in mid-October. The model comes equipped with coordinated features on the inside and outside. The body of the special edition is based on the dynamic style of the current model and will be offered in a host of eye-catching colours, including Loire Blue, Firenze Red, Santorini Black and Corris Grey.
The Evoque comes with a host of innovative technological features, including the ingenious HUD laser-operated system that helps drivers to maintain a perfect view of the road ahead.
