New James Bond film will feature JLR vehicles

After a brief interlude, it has been revealed that Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) vehicles will once again feature in the new Bond epic entitled Spectre. The company is supplying three cars for the film: the Range Rover Sport SVR, Defender Big Foot and Jaguar C-X75.

The Defender and the Sport have already taken part in filming in Australia. The Sport SVR is Land Rover's answer to the Mercedes AMG and is no slouch when it comes to speed. JLR claims that this is the fastest and most powerful vehicle it has ever produced and the Bond film will obviously be testing out this claim and putting the vehicle through its paces. The Sport SVR is fitted with a V8 5.00-litre engine that delivers 550hp.

The Defender Big Foot was first seen in 2010. It was manufactured as an additional model to add excitement to JLR's car show stands and it certainly turned a few heads. The Bigfoot was created by land Rover Special Vehicles and has 37-inch rims and Mickey Thompson 395/70 tyres. It comes with a selection of diesel engines and a four-range transmission case. This is the perfect car for James Bond if he gets trapped in inhospitable terrain.

JLR makes its return in Spectre after a break. The last time we saw a Land Rover in the Bond franchise was when Miss Moneypenny drove a Defender 110 Double Cab Pickup in the opening scenes of Skyfall. Spectre will be released on 6th November.
