New image of BMW 7-Series on internet
We don't have to wait until September and the motor show in Frankfurt to get a glimpse of the new 7-Series BMW. Whether the model is what we will eventually see on display in Germany later in the year cannot be verified, but from the picture we can deduce a couple of things. If this is the BMW 7-Series 2015 then let's not get too excited, as it is not very different to the old model; however, there has been a fair bit of chrome added in a tasteful way.
The car displayed on the internet has been stripped of its camouflage after being uploaded by BimmerToday and looks sleeker and less heavy than before. The reduced weight can be put down to high-tech materials including carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic, magnesium, aluminium, and high-strength steel.
Like everything the German premium car maker produces, the 'look' will always be first class and this model will certainly turn heads as it glides past. How the model will drive is something we will get to know in September. Even though a number of motoring websites have already driven the pre-production model, there will be some fairly significant changes to the car that will eventually appear in showrooms.
At the end of the day the new BMW 7-Series appears to be very much a continuation of what the old model was all about: a good-looking, luxury high performer with some great systems inside the cabin.
