BMW to feature new models at Paris Motor Show
The mighty BMW brand will be hoping to turn a few heads at the Paris Motor Show, which takes place between 4th and 19th October 2014. Hailed as the most important car show in Europe, the German luxury car manufacturer plans to reveal two new models: the X6 and the 2-Series Convertible.
The company will also display its new four-cylinder diesel engines, which will be used in the 5-Series; a special edition 7-Series, and all the latest toys from BMW ConnectedDrive.
BMW will also use the show to debut the 2-Series Active Tourer and the unique and state-of-the-art i8 hybrid plug-in luxury sports car.
The new models on display emphasise the development and cutting-edge technology that is becoming the trademark of the company.
The 2-Series Convertible is a car with elegant sporty lines that offers the owner a dynamic open-top driving experience. The four-seater is the next generation of the highly-successful 1-Series Convertible, with the engine giving a sporty performance backed up by German efficiency.
The X6 has a powerful presence on any road and is fitted out to give not only outstanding performance but also a luxurious drive. Standard equipment in the X6 goes a long way beyond the old model and includes bi-xenon lights, 19-inch alloys, an eight-speed Steptronic sport gearbox, and the Driving Assistant package.
