Audi TT Coupe prices announced
Deliveries of the new Audi TT Coupe are set to commence from December this year and the prices have now been revealed, starting at £29,770. For this the new owner will get a new look, 67.3mpg and emissions of 110/km.
The new TT made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show. It is the third-generation of this model and is based on the MQB modular set-up developed by the Volkswagen Group.
The engines available at the launch comprise a 2.00-litre TFSI with quattro all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive, and an ultra Sport 2.00 TDI with front-wheel drive. The ultra Sport offers economical driving, returning 67.3mpg; however, it is still able to get from standing to 62mph in 7.1 seconds and has a top speed of 150mph.
A TTS model is due later in the year, with deliveries expected in March 2015.
UK drivers will be offered specifications on two different levels: the S Line and the Sport. Both models have the Audi virtual cockpit, which is centred on the high-resolution 12.3-inch LCD display panel. The new look completely replaces the old analogue dials, giving the cabin a more futuristic appearance.
The S Line models come with bigger 19-inch wheels, new bumpers and all-weather lights (LED). There is also the option to switch to a lowered suspension at no extra cost.
The price will range from £29,770 for the 2.0-litre TFSI ultra Sport to £35,335 for the 2.0-litre quattro S Line.
