Audi presents its products to the world in Frankfurt
Audi is showing a range of new products at this year's Frankfurt International Motor Show (IAA); however, both the press and public's attention is likely to be focussed on the A4 and the e-tron quattro concept - a sporty SUV featuring an all-electric drive.
The luxury German car manufacturer is also hoping to excite us with four glimpses of the future, with the Audi Sport, quattro, Audi Technologies and Audi ultra. It also has on display its entire collection of drive system concepts.
The company is continuing to manufacture the TDI and TFSI engines with more efficiency in mind. In doing this, the brand is utilising the full potential of conventional engines. The cars with the greenest CO2 emissions have been given the 'ultra' supplement, with the fabulous Audi A4 2.0 TDI ultra one such car debuting in Frankfurt.
There is a world premiere for the exciting, 100% electric Audi e-tron quattro concept car - the company's first production electric car - which is due to arrive in the showrooms in 2018. The next-generation A4 offers a sporty and well-balanced driving experience and a lot of high-tech gadgetry inside the cabin.
It is clear from what Audi is displaying at the Frankfurt IAA that it sees the future of mobility as being sporty, combined with highly-efficient systems and a lot of emotion. The IAA opens for trading tomorrow and closes its doors for another year on 27th September.
