AMT Vehicle Rental - Terms & Conditions

All rates are inclusive of VAT, Road Fund Licence, Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) & Fully Comprehensive Insurance. Standard vehicle hirers must be between the age of 23 and 75 years old and held a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 2 years. Any Driver under the age of 25 will be subject to an insurance surcharge.

Although AMT do not require a deposit on most vehicles ,However ALL vehicles do require a pre authorisation on of the credit card you are paying on to cover the insurance excess.

Hirers should have no more than 6 points and have no major convictions on their licence, Offence codes will be checked prior to handing the vehicle over. Exclusions
•Vehicles can not be used for hire & reward
•Vehicles can not be used for towing of any description
•Drivers with the following occupations: foreign armed forces, entertainers, sport professionals, students
•Learner drivers All hirers must produce the following identification prior to vehicle check out. Full UK driving licence, Credit/Debit card and two utility bills dated within the last 90 days. MOBILE PHONE BILLS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED Hirers from outside of the UK must provide a full driving licence, international driving permit, and valid passport. Prestige vehicles will require a larger deposit. A deposit is required at the start of all rentals, this deposit will be taken from a credit card in the hirers name.

You can canel your reservation free of charge up to 24 hours prior to collection. All reservation cancelled after this time will be subject to 1 days hire charge being applied.
All hires are subject to an insurance excess, for basic vehicles this amount is £500 MPV's & Executive vehicles have a minimum £1000 excess, which cannot be reduced.
All hires are to be paid by a credit card in the drivers name, please be aware that we are unable to accept Visa Electron and Solo cards for payment. AMT Rent A Car do not accept payment by cash or cheque.
Please note that these general terms and conditions are general in their nature only. All rentals are taken out in strict accordance with the terms above but also with the Rental Agreement that you sign on hand over. Please note that anything in the Rental Agreement takes precedence over anything written here.
During peak times we are unable to guarantee specific models of vehicles. If we are unable to provide the vehicle requested then we will provide a similar vehicle . If for any reason we are unable to provide a similar vehicle we reserve the right to upgrade you free of charge.
